This right-profile bust of the Queen is the sixth used on Australian coins and shows the Queen at the age of 89. The reverse face of 2021 Australian Silver Koala Coins includes a fresh depiction of the lovable marsupial. The koala, often mislabeled the koala bear, is shown in this design as it is often viewed in the wild. The koala is a rather docile creature that sleeps as many as 20 hours a day. Even though it is viewed as lovable and docile, the koala is more than capable of defending itself when threatened with its sharp claws.
